The genocide unfolding in Gaza is not only a humanitarian catastrophe.
It is a political, legal and moral fracture that concerns the future of the entire world.
For years, flotillas have carried solidarity across the Mediterranean, breaking silence and exposing the brutality of siege, occupation and collective punishment. Yet every mission also reveals a difficult truth: solidarity often rises in moments of emergency and disappears when media attention fades.
The proposal “100 Ports • 100 Cities” was born from this awareness.
It is an invitation to transform solidarity from an episodic wave into a permanent political infrastructure capable of connecting ports, cities, institutions, schools, universities, associations and social movements across countries.
This proposal does not aim to replace the flotillas at sea.
It aims to strengthen them.
To build a living bridge between Sea Flotillas and Land Flotillas.
A bridge capable of transforming every departure, every interception, every testimony and every act of resistance into continuous political pressure inside our cities and institutions.
Because boats can be seized.
But a network of active cities cannot be stopped.
We invite flotillas, collectives, organizations, municipalities, unions, students, activists and individuals from all countries
to read, discuss, improve and join this proposal.
